The Devils beat the Rangers 5-3 to take a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. New Jersey scored three goals in the first period, the Rangers answered with three goals of their own.
New York scored just seconds into both the second and third periods, but the Devils broke the tie with the game winning goal late in the third.
